AudioNoise
licensing
The unregistered version of the AudioNoise
program may be downloaded and used free
of charge, provided that the user agrees to the following conditions:
(1) the user may not charge a fee for distributing the program,
(2) the user may not distribute any files generated by AudioNoise,
(3) the user may not charge a fee from others for listening to
the sound information generated by AudioNoise, either during
play-back on a computer or via any other media, and (4) copyright
of all information (such as sound files) generated by AudioNoise
remains with its author.
Without registration, the duration of play-back
and sound files is limited to 30 minutes. Purchasing a license
for AudioNoise (i.e., registering) removes this limitation.
There are two types of licenses, which can be
obtained here. Each license entitles the
licensee to use the program according to the following specific
conditions.
A personal
license is for single use only, entitling the licensee
to use AudioNoise on any computers available to him/her,
provided that (1) AudioNoise is not operated on more than
one computer or terminal at the same time, (2) AudioNoise
is not used by other individuals with access to these machines,
(3) sound files created with AudioNoise and any audio storage
media (e.g. CDs, DVDs, MP3-files) created from these files
are used exclusively by the licensee and are not distributed,
(4) the user may not charge a fee from others for listening
to the sound information generated by AudioNoise, either
during play-back on a computer or via any other media, and
(5) copyright of all information (such as sound files) generated
by AudioNoise remains with its author.
A site license is for multiple
users, entitling the licensee to use AudioNoise on any
computers available to him/her, provided that (1)
AudioNoise is not operated on more than twenty computers
or terminals at the same time, (2)
sound files created with AudioNoise and any audio storage
media (e.g. CDs, DVDs, MP3-files) created from these files
are used exclusively by the licensee and are not distributed,
(4) the users may not charge a fee from others for listening
to the sound information generated by AudioNoise, either
during play-back on a computer or via any other media, and
(5) copyright of all information (such as sound files) generated
by AudioNoise remains with its author.
A professional
license is for single use only, entitling an individual
to use AudioNoise on any and all computers available to
him/ her, provided that (1) AudioNoise is not operated on
more than one computer or terminal at the same time and
(2) AudioNoise is not used by other individuals with access
to these machines. A professional license entitles the licensee
to distribute sound files or audio media generated with
AudioNoise or to let others listen to the sound generated
by AudioNoise (possibly subject to charge). However, copyright
of all noise signals generated with AudioNoise remains with
its author. |
